As Cool said, beating Houston and Phoenix would go a long way.

Speaking of Phoenix, Eric Bledsoe would look good here. His health is always a concern, but when healthy he's top-10 at his position.

That's an interesting point about Bledsoe's health. We've been remarkably healthy again this year, able to trot out the same starting lineup almost every night.

Another thing to keep in mind that the Wolves have played a couple fewer games than some of these other teams.

Also there isn't much separation right now between the teams out of the playoffs if the season ended right now. If the Wolves can move to the top of that heap it would be a good start.

3.5. Boogie went HAM on the Blazers, spit his mouthpiece at them (was an accident though of course).

As disappointing as the Wolves have been, 7 other West teams have also been bad to very bad. This could be the year 40 or 41 wins grabs the 8th spot. Time to start creepin' towards .500 and make this season interesting!

Wow that's a heck of a game by Cousins. I just looked at the box score and Lawson had a nice game off the bench for them.

Portland has played 3 more games than the Wolves so the Wolves could pick up some ground pretty quick if they went on a little run.even going 2-1 the next 3 would get them within 3 games. I know some people weren't believers in Portland being for real but them being 4 games under .500 is pretty underwhelming. The only guy that's missed more than a couple games is Aminu and with all the wing/combo players they have that shouldn't be that big of a deal. If the Wolves are turning a corner with these last few performances they have a real shot as the field has come back to them a bit.

One other thought on the Boogie game: he destroyed them, but was fuming in the interview after the game because the refs originally kicked him out for spitting his mouth piece at the Portland bench. Check out the interview and the replay of the incident. Looks obvious to me he did it on purpose, and yet instead of celebrating a great win and a monster game afterwards, he came across as a guy who the officials have it out for every game--sounded like a child throwing a tantrum.

Boogie has all the talent in the world, but I would not touch him with a hundred foot pole. I think he's doomed to be a cancer for any team he's on. I'll take Wiggins' lack of fire and emotion over Boogie's craziness any day, even if he never becomes the superstar we all hoped he would. At least Wiggins has potential to be a plus player that doesn't ruin team chemistry. Boogie is bat-shit.

I've always felt that Cousins will be one of these guys that finds success when he joins his second or third team, whereby it's filled with strong veterans and a strong winning culture. Imagine if he went to Memphis as Gasol ages and takes a back seat, something like that. Either way, I don't see him in Sacramento much longer.

Yes he needs to go somewhere with a legit established culture and I think he could end up being finerelatibelt speaking. I said at the time of the draft he likely couldn't be your top dog or there would be problems. The problem for the Kings is who are they going to be able to get back for him? I sorta wish it would work out in Sacramento for him but it's hard seeing how that's gonna happen right now.
