One thing I do not like. . .It seems like the Wolves have too many stretches where they trade 2 points for the oppositions 3 points. Wolves desperately need 3 ball shooters. This is nothing new though.

66 makes for MN vs. 126 makes for the opposition this season.

Good writeup cool.
Wiggins is the best player on the team. He knows it and his team mates knows it. He is unguardable when he goes ISO and the guys spread the floor properly for him then its over. He is only in his 2nd yea and will only get better. He also has the rookie of the year to be Karl Anthony Towns as team mate. I like the wolves future.

Better in ISO than Michael Beasley was?

Better in isolation play no doubt especially at the top of the key with good spacing.

We seem to be missing the sarcasm quite a bit lately...

Yup, it's frustrating as hell because it's seemingly transcended regimes. It seems like whenever we get a 3-ball specialist in, they suddenly forget how to shoot. Troy Daniels last season, Damjan Rudez this season, Mike Miller a number of years ago....the list goes on, but all these guys shoot the hell out of the ball everywhere else but here.
Ultimately, I'm really hoping the solution lies within the existing group of guys. Bjelica and LaVine both show potential as volume 3-point shooters. And it might take a couple more years, but I really think Towns eventually becomes a reliable 3-point shooter too. His stroke is so smooth and I can't think of a 90%+ free throw shooter NOT being a good 3-point shooter.

Maybe. But as we've noted before, I think it's more than just poor shooting.
There's a clear offensive philosophy in place that does not champion the shot. Yesterday, I nearly shut off the game when Payne got the ball after one pass with about 18 second on the shot clock and stepped into a 22'8" two point shot.
Your PF should NEVER take that shot unless under duress. Here's Payne taking it early in the shot clock. Yuck.

I was thinking the same thing when Payne took that shot. I find myself zeroing in on players feet when they shoot now. There's so many shots that are on the line.
As for LaVine, I feel much better with his 3 ball when it's off the catch. I almost assume it's going in. Off the dribble? Not so much. Another reason to play him off the ball more.
