One more thing, Wiggins appears to be much more durable. To me that is huge.

Cool, what are you looking at when making your durability statement? GA played 158 out of 162 games in his first two seasons.

My mistake, I had my Bucks mixed up.

Offensively? Defensively? Grabbing rebounds?

Yeah, just look at the results. More blocks, more assists, more rebounds. When he's not scoring, he does more stuff than Wiggins.

The one area where Wiggins is elite is getting free throw attempts. That's huge and it's what gave me pause. But otherwise, GA is pretty much better than Wiggins in every other facet of the game.

Q, Wiggins is a better offensive player than Giannis. To say his advantage is limited to getting to the line is a disservice to Andrew's game.

Arrrrh Lip why do this to us.

We could have had the Greek Freak instead of Bazz and Gobert in stead of Dieng

Rubio / Wiggins / Freak / KAT / Gobert

Defensively that lineup is insanely good lol.

Ahh, I am very curious about this statement. At this point in time, outside FT attempts, there is absolutely NOTHING Wiggins does better than GF. The only way you could say this is based on a purely speculative viewpoint of where you personally think the two will go. Statistically, it isn't even close.

Giannis has never averaged more than 12.7 points per game. Isn't that a statistic? I watch a ton of Bucks games, and Giannis just doesn't have the offensive game Wiggins does.

Hicks, you are correct in saying "at this point in time, outside FT attempts, there is absolutely nothing Wiggins does better than GF (although actually I think Wig is more careful with the ball), but I still think it's unfair to compare a young player with two years under his belt to one with only his rookie season. One truism most of us here subscribe to is most young players take a big jump in their second and third seasons, so to me the fair way to compare Wig and GA is to compare their per 36 rookie stats. GA still wins in rebounds, assists and blocks, but Wig averages almost 7 points per 36 more than GA, and in a much more efficient manner...I think most pundits would agree he had the superior rookie year, despite playing with a terrible team. Maybe Wig will be the exception and not experience the typical 2nd and 3rd year improvement, but I seriously doubt it...there's just too much talent there. I take Wig long-term.
