I don't see how we end up playing worse than .500 here on out with the way our rookie and sophs playing the way they are right now, next 12 games against losing teams.

WorldK -- Rubio staying healthy is key and I'm optimistic that he can, were just being cautious with him now as he is coming back from a long layoff.
That is exactly what I meant to say

I picked more likely, as SP noted, our depth is the key. Add two other factors: defense and getting to the line.
At the beginning of the season when Ricky went down we knew we were doomed. Now I think we can handle a few games with Ricky being out. Zach and Andre are closing the gap and filling in at PG. Now at the forward position, not many of us could have expected a strong presence from Belly, but his recent injury shows how valuable he has been. He'll be back soon (today), and sometime in Dec we should see Pek. Reports have him running in practice. Last thought bench is producing 44 points per game.
Our defense is showing up when it is important in the 4th quarter. We are the 3rd best in the fourth quarter behind Det and Charlotte, allowing only 22.2 points. Compare that to last year when we were dead last allowing 26 points in the 4th.
FT attempts, well we've seen an improvement in this area as well. We are averaging 27.6 attempts per game (3rd best in the league) and making just over 80 percent (again 3rd best).
Areas of concern, opponent points in the paint and our points off turnovers. As for the opponents points in the paint, we are 3rd worst with only GS and Houston worse than us. Here is where I think Pek can help us, he's a force in the paint and allows both KAT and Dieng to move around better. Points off of turnovers, idk, our sets are too predictable and are creating turnovers.

Re: Let's go on the record on the Wolves' playoff chances
I went with possible but not likely but I am more of a just under 50percrnt likeness of them making the playoffs. I am actually feeling good about the playoff chances and to add to what other people have brought up...
The Wolves are at .500 right. Ow and they have already war there's injuries. Rubio has missed 5 games Belly has missed a couple. Martin can't hit the side of a barn. It's been far from perfect for the Wolves so far.
Depth. It honestly looks like we could weather the storm for a while even if both Martin and Rubio miss a chunk of games. Who would have thought that when the season started?
Coaching and team chemistry. Not everyone loves Sam but the results have been impressive so far. He has this team playing like they think they should win. They finish 4th quarters like a playoff team does. It's ugly at times but that also means there is room for improvement throughout the season.
This team feels like a playoff team to me right now but we will see. It's not just up to the Wolves but it depends on what other teams do record wise. I'll stay cautious in predicting but I feel very good about their chances. They are right there with some other teams no doubt.
