He's so confident in his own offensive ability that he's taking some questionable shot attempts instead of making a pass for a better shot attempt. I don't think it's at the level of "ball-hog" or "black hole" or anything like that, but to me he's doing that more frequently so far this year than any other year and I'm not sure that's what I want him doing.
Interesting take. I'm actually on the other side. I feel like Dieng has sometimes passed out of easy shots that I feel he should take. If you look at shot attempts, he's certainly not a volume guy. When you consider his efficiency numbers...he's exactly the guy I want to shoot a little more.
I've seen Dieng have tunnel vision in the past too. I don't think it's going to grow into a big problem.

However.....He seems to have improved in keeping his pivot foot down on that move before putting the ball on the floor and if matched up against Centers, there is generally no one else that can really get in his way after he gets past his guy.
Dieng is sporting a 66 TS% in 6 pre-season games with decent volume (19 points per 36 minutes). I'm not sure he can maintain those numbers in the regular season, but there is no question he is an improved offensive player.
I get where you guys are coming from but He doesn't need to quit doing that he needs to improve his footwork. I want a guy that looks to attack the rim. He travels on a number of his moves and he needs to clean it up or get stickier shoes or something. Lol
