Oden is about the only guy who makes Pekovic look like Brett Favre in terms of health

Is that you Cam?
I'm sure this was intended to be a joke, but there's a reason the board throws Stauskas in my face. Not too many other mistakes to choose from.

If Wolves take Towns than the Lakers surprise everyone and take Russell second.. he goes on to be ROY and as Laker luck would have it they have their new star for the next 12 years and after a few shrewd free agent moves they become title contenders again and it's business as usual.

Hey not everyone has access to the draft discussion chain letters from the 80's where Cam made some real big prospect evaluation blunders. lol How times have changed huh? Back then you had to like watch games when they happened to see them play and some guys probably never got on TV. Now we have YouTube videos on what Lebron JR is doing in math class or whatever and enough stats to make a math geek never leave their parent's basement. So much information and so quickly it can be communicated. Imagine the work it took to do scouting videos even 20 years ago compared to now.

I think he puts up 18 and 9 without breaking much of a sweat, with a decent FG%. Towns is going to take a year or two to make as much of an impact because even though he is better defensively, the refs make rookie bigs' life miserable. He will get absolutely no benefit of the doubt and will struggle on that end as a rookie (Okafor will too, but since when did that matter when it comes to ROY voting?).

That's the analysis I would have too. The real question is whether Okafor rests on his 18 and 9 laurels or stays driven.

I could see Russell getting on a team where there are plenty of stats for him to pile up too. If Towns is good and the Wolves have injuries...I wouldn't be shocked if he puts up some good scoring stats especially if Rubio stays mostly healthy. All that said Okafor is a pretty good bet for ROY.
