Thanks for the reply Lip so you have an idea of how Flip feels about Wiggins? Maybe you said already or don't want to say there are too many threads and maybe I didn't read something because especially before the draft I didn't read all the Love trade threads. Lol

So Wiggins can't be traded for 30 days and the non-guaranteed contracts have to be decided by August 1? If so then what was the endgame for those moves?

Il make a min-cle-Philly 3 team trade prediction

Love, brew and Turiaf to cavs

Waiters,Bennett, wolves 2 nd round to sixers

Wiggins, young, cavs expirings and 2 first from cavs and moultrie from sixers to wolves

I prefer to trade Martin but I don't see cavs taking him when they have miller,James and Allen rumored to be signing with them. They want a wing defender in their lineup. They also reportedly want a vet center and are willing to give up a pick for him. Turiaf being part of the package might be enough for them to give us 2 first.

I would be very happy if we get Thad young along with wiggins. Moultrie gives us a bench pf.

Monster -- I haven't said what Flip thinks go Wiggins. All I know is that Flip considers Wiggins a top three talent in this draft, but that's not earth shattering news.

No way in hell is Thad worth Waiters AND Bennett. It's even worse when they don't take back another contract. Remember they've reportedly been after Waiters and if I recall correctly they were looking to unload Young.

Big ten, you might be right. I actually thought about the sixers taking jj off us but see that they have maynor already. Maybe it can be expanded with cavs sending haywood and a 2nd to sixers with maynor going to cavs and us unloading jj to the sixers.

Thad in my view is better than both waiters and bennet but your probably right that the sixers have to absorb another contract to make it more fair.

So the trade would be

To cavs- love , brewer, turiaf, maynor(from sixers)

To sixers - waiters, bennet, haywood, jj( from wolves) 2nd rounder from cavs

To wolves - wiggins, thad young, moultrie ( from sixers) cavs expirings and 2 first picks from cavs.

That`s really funny because when Blatt coached Maccabi Tel-Aviv, he signed Malcom Thomas to the team (2012/3). But after few loses in a row of Blatt`s team (When the fans wanted Blatt to be fired), on February 2013 Malcom Thomas was released from the team, and right after that Blatt was interviewed to the press and just "dirt" on Malcom Thomas badly, without any class. Now, with the Cavs - Jazz trade it seems that Blatt might coach Malcom Thomas again next season. LOL

Hard to know how those nonguaranteed contracts fit. I was assuming they were acquired to help facilitate a Wiggins-Love trade without the need to sign Wiggins and wait 30 days. They won't be necessary now to a match salaries so maybe the Cavs will find another use. Or perhaps the deal will be divided into two halves where Corey Brewer or JJ will be traded to the Cavs in exchange for those nonguaranteed players by Aug. 1 with the Wiggins Live deal being executed later after the 30-day delay.

Right, they are still beneficial if the Cavs take Martin or Brewer/Shved, but certainly not as key with Wiggins signed. Really depends on other pieces though. They could also go to a 3rd team looking for a little cap relief. I just hope a leaked agreed upon deal happens SOOOOOOON.
