Ha, I'm really trying, but it's difficult. If the woman next to me paid for her bikini based on fabric used and paid more than a dollar, she overpaid!

I guarantee I will be reporting to Thomas and Mack before 3:30 tip.

I'm slow today....what does the do and don't refer to in this scenario?

I don't want to speak for phenom, but I believe he is talking about the way we react to Summer League and pre-season. If a player does well, we have a tendency to discount it by saying "It's just (SL or pre-season). But if he plays poorly (like Adreian Payne last Wednesday), we tend to wring our hands and say the sky is falling. It's a "can't win" situation in many ways. To be sure, both of these thoughts have some merit, but there are things we can learn before the season starts...good and bad. Just need to take it with a grain of salt.

Ah, makes sense.

That's why I'm trying to focus on behaviors more than just pure stats, like Zach turning the corner on screens or Towns being given the green light on 3's. But still, we'll all eat up the box score stuff too!

Damn. Meanwhile, most of us schmucks are back in the office. Good for you LST! Did you at least go with a friend or family member? Or is this a solo scouting trip solely for the benefit of your fellow posters on this board? Either way, I'm jealous.

Thats exactly it, LST. And often times the players we love get a ton of credit for doing well and a big pass for not showing up while the players we despise do not get the credit for performing well and get trashed for not showing up. Its a double standard that happens every summer.

Traveled solo, but meeting up with a couple friends from LA who will be here for tonight's game...cheering for the wrong team of course. Heading over there now to catch a little Kings/Raptors.

Nice my plan to sucker a team to take Bennett and "Wiggins" is coming together. Lol

Honestly Nick seemed like a decent player at WSU so I like he is on the squad. It seemed like we were lacking a little in wing depth to me for this squad. They may have wanted another body for practices. with Bazz tweaking his hammy.

Sounds like a great time. We'll keep an eye out for the shirtless guy in the stands with an Anthony Bennett chest tattoo.

(just admit it LST).
