MN won't trade him or up and coming LaVine yet both of them come off the bench?

This makes zero sense.

I don't think that's the case. I think the reaction to your suggestion is that the Lakers would never offer up Russell for 'Bazz (I could be wrong though).
BTW, he is playing a little better lately. I really feel sorry for him, Clarkson, and Randle. Those guys are getting absolutely screwed by the Byron Scott/Kobe Bryant axis of evil.

Lakers and Nets are pretty devoid of talent that could be offered. There is no way way Lakers offer Clarkson, Russell or Randle, but I'd gladly take the Lakers first round pick in 3 years (they traded away this year's first). The Nets have RHJ who I like but doubtful he's available. Jack and Larkin could be useful but these kind of guys should be available in free agency. I'd certainly take the Nets first rounder for Bazz, even if its top 5 protected.

I was thinking maybe Bleed didn't understand the question but wait he was the one that posed it. Lol since the short answer wasn't good enough...there is no way the Lakers would offer up #2 overall pick a few months ago Russell for Bazz and if they did the Wolves would likely accept faster than a Jimmy Johns being delivered. Flip loved Russell at the time of the draft I bet there were other guys around the Wolves franchise that were fans too. It's not happening and the response of the negatory variety is not because people think Russell sucks.

RHJ is having ankle surgery and will be out a couple months so that may be another reason they called right now.
