Garnett. So talented. I just covered my eyes with the antics sometimes.
Googs. The next very poor man's Larry Bird... sans that stupid barbed wire tattoo.
Marbury. More for what he represented (future with Garnett) than anything else. He ruined everything.
Brandon. I wanted him to be better, needed him to be better... but he was still pretty solid.
Rubio. So much fun. "change your face" And I dig pass-first PGs... he definitely fits that role.
Hassell. I dug the impact even when he couldn't score.
Love. Unique talent. Lousy teams...
Hoiberg. Heady, shooter. Seemed like a nice guy.
Cassell. McHale FINALLY figured out Garnett needed a closer next to him.
Leaving #10 open... hoping Towns or Wiggins get there. I'm very stingy in my adoration... it takes time.

HM: Bobby Jackson. Fell in love with him quickly when he was at the U of M. You don't forget that kind of love.

It's fun to see these lists. I don't know if I could only do 10 (especially when you have guys I liked that played like 1 or two years with the Wolves like AK) but here are a couple guys that played for more than a couple years I enjoyed watching them as Wolves that I don't think been mentioned. Maybe none of them would make my top 10 idk but they are worth mentioning.

Anthony Peeler. I liked him in college and while he was frustrating at times for the wolves he was still a pretty solid player he would have been better in a bench role.

Gary Trent. He could score he would mix it up.

Tom Hammonds. One of those bench guys that just seemed to help you or generally not hurt you when he was in there.

You guys know I'm gonna make a "Most Hated Wolves List" right?

Just too much positivity in this thread. Even JR Rider is being remembered fondly.

Rashad McCants... we need you to even things out!

1. KG -- Obvious #1. A sure hall-of-famer. Led us to the 2004 Conf Finals.

2. Googs -- Terrific all-around player. A true point forward who could score & rebound.

3. Marbury -- We were leading the W Conf when he was traded. I'll never forget him leading us to a win over Jordan's Bulls. The place was packed and the atmosphere electric. When the game ended, Steph went to center court, kneeled down and kissed the Wolves logo. Alas, what might have been! So part of listing Steph is the hope he represented. But it was more than that. He was here a little over 2 seasons and was incredible. He gave fans lots of thrills and, along with KG, lifted this franchise to a level it had never been before.

4. Cassell -- Yes, it was only 1 season. But he was one of 3 keys that got us to the Conference finals. And with this franchise, one great season is a big deal!

5. Sprewell - Can't believe this guy hasn't been included on anyone's list so far. He was one of our core 3 that led us to the Conf finals in 2004. Yes, on,y one season. But as Wolves fans we're in no position to write off a player because his play or presence was limited to a single season.

6. Wally -- Allstar his second season here. Great talent whose career was sabotaged by injuries. Could have been a perennial Allstar.

7. Kevin Love -- Third best talent to wear a Wolves uniform after KG and Marbury (not counting Wiggins, Towns or LaVine). His time here was disappointing, but that's on David Kahn, not Love.

8. Wiggins -- Perhaps the most talented player to ever wear a Wolves uniform. His presence here gives us hope again.

9. Towns -- Repeat from Wiggins comment. Plus a star type personality.

10. Ricky -- So much fun to watch and the biggest difference maker since KG in his prime. Like KG, Ricky turns this team into a winner. Unlike KG, he can't stay healthy. I almost put LaVine here instead.

Here are the next 5 in order:

1. LaVine -- He almost made my top 10. I think he will this time next year. He has the potential to be great.

2. Bobby Jackson -- Loved the way he played.

3. Hassell -- Great team player and tough defender.

4. Hoiberg

5. Doug West.

Spree made a couple of lists, including mine. I loved Googs too. Great passer, could play inside and out. Man Marbury really f-d that team up.

In former-#twolves-player news; the Wizards have cut Martell Webster & signed Ryan Hollins.

Good times. Hollins would probably make my top 10 of Wolves on pure athletic ability.

Now I'm seeing more names that are making it more difficult to avoid that "10 most hated Wolves" list.
