Of the scenarios and possible players involved, outside of the first pick, klay thompson is the one that interest me the most. Im not sure i like lee though( a must to be included in a deal with gs). How about we ship lee and barnes to detroit in a sign and trade for monroe? This would have to happen after draft day. Rubio/monroe/klay core. We trade pek and shved/jj to boston for green and bass.

Green / brew
Monroe/ bass
Dieng / turiaf
Rubio / jj
Klay /martin or bud (whoever we dont include in the love trade)

We have bazz still as well as who we draft with the 13 th pick and would like to sign another big or trade jj and sign a new backup pg.

Personally, I don't like this.

I also don't see Detroit taking Lee. They already have an overpaid PF in Josh Smith. He's much better at the 4 than at the 3. You know SVG is gonna spread the floor as much as possible. That means with a Smith/Drummond froncourt, he'll need shooters 1-3. Not to mention Smith/Lee/Drummond just feels really cluttered and expensive. Van Gundy is expected to not re-sign Monroe, which also makes it seem like he's going to roll with Smith at PF.

Trading Pek to Boston for Green would be one of the worst trades in franchise history, in my opinion. We don't need Green, but we may need Pek. Scratching my head at this one. If you'd like to explain why we'd do this, by all means.

Lee is an expiring and would actually fit better to drummond and smith than monroe would. Where have you heard svg plans to not resign monroe? The idea here is lee is an expiring and barnes is actually an ideal fit to smith and drummond as a floor spacer so detroit could be looking at barnes smith drummond long term frontcourt.

Im a fan of monroe. He is a 7ft double double guy who moves well and gives us a big with low post skills and good passing ability.

The trade of pek for green is for the following reasons: cap purposes as green has 2 more yrs and pek has 4 more. Green gives us an athletic wing who plays above the rim and can move to pf in small ball matchups( a need, unless your counting on lrmm). I also feel monroe and pek might not mesh well together. That said, i wont mind keeping pek and roll with pek monroe frontcourt and see if it can work. Im just not certain it would. Another deal that i have proposed before is pek and 13 for young and 10, il do that deal if we could, just dont think philly would.

I like a return of klay and monroe for love. I dont like the bulls or boston deals. A straight up warriors deal is meh but if we could swap lee for a better long term big like monroe then i would push for it. Clevland for 1st pick remains the ideal deal for me.

I am not crazy about the Bulls, Warriors or Rockets as trade partners since none have high draft picks and won't part with any potential great players.

1) Cleveland - only if we receive #1 pick and other assets. If no #1 pick this year, then they aren't even in the discussion, and are replaced by Boston.
2) Boston
3) Boston
4) Boston
5) Boston
6) Chicago
7) Philadelphia
8) Orlando
9) Phoenix
10) Sacramento
