Forget about his injury history, and the fact that it likely cut 5 years off his career going forward, he just isn't that good anymore. Lavine was a more efficient scorer last season. Then think about the attitude issues, and moving him to Minny from his hometown. No thanks!
I think there's plenty of Minnesota fans that overvalue their own injured pg. It comes with the territory I suppose.
And you are here to try and balance us out by taking a jab at Ricky in every thread that mentions him?
Well none of u guys ever have anything negative to say about him so yeah , balancing it out indeed!:)

My question is why you would allow Towns 5 years to develop the rest of his game if he averages 8-9 rebounds and 1-2 blocks but you are always on Ricky's case when he averages 8-9 assists and 1-2 steals?

by the way Ricky drives the lane, I could say that he doesn't put his body on the line

Rubio will be in year 5...
I haven't seen much improvement... and the numbers support it. He's largely the same player he was as a rookie. That's not entirely bad. We all know what he can bring to the table. It's significant.
But I think we need to realize that Rubio is what he is at the bad stuff, too. He's not going to improve enough at this point where it's not a significant problem. Right now, he's still good enough in my book. But that shooting... and finishing... we can't just gloss over it. It will continue to surface as a problem and posters who have a problem with it should rip him for it.
Just like Thad Young was ripped for not rebounding enough.

Still, why jump the gun? If the production is there, why can't each player get the 5 years? What is the basis for picking and choosing?
Phenom's_Revenge wrote:I will be disappointed if Towns has 2 injuries in 5 years that costs him 2 years. But I won't be disappointed in him (or call him injury prone). But I do wonder, what is the expectation for further development during such a long time away from the court? Does it still count because time does not stop? Or is there an asterisk? The annoying part is Rubio supporters and Rubio detractors each have to work around the "yeah, but" and the "what if". It is uncomfortable. We need to know if Ricky is good.
