I only watched a little...too weird to watch basketball with no fans in the stands. I did get a chance to watch one of my dark horse favorites for best player in the draft, Stanley Johnson, and he was terrific...13 efficient points in just 24 minutes, and outstanding defense. I know some were surprised that he was picked before Winslow, and Winslow also looked good yesterday, but I think Johnson will prove to be the more valuable player.

Getting great reviews.

Okafor is good. 2 blocks too.

I saw several concerns with Okafor yesterday. He does not elevate. He is not "quick". Shooting is still a problem, including FTs. And I really don't like his demeanor on the court, although maybe I am jaded...

Anyone see Payne changed his number from 3 to 33? I assume it's because he is 11 times better than last year! :)

Good thinking. I would change my number after they year he had last year. When he came to the Hawks #5 was taken by Carrol so he had #33 when he got traded to the Wolves Thad had #33 and Dieng #5 so he settled on #3. Maybe #33 is a tribute to Hot Rod Hundley. :)

I feel pretty comfortable saying I'm the only guy here who watched Hundley play live. For some reason, he was my second favorite Laker behind Elgin Baylor. I must not have been a big stats guy back then because he never shot over 36% for us!

That's pretty cool. He is one of those guys I really didn't even think about he played because I knew of him as an announcer etc. I think it was Jim Pete that tweeted after Hundley passed away somethigg like "Hot Rod always told me he was the best 15th man of all time" Lol

Closed circuit to Eitan if you're out there. What can you tell us about Ivan Aska, who ran with the first team (Tyus, Zach, Payne and KAT) in practice yesterday? I see he played with Maccabi Ashdod last year. He wasn't very productive at Murray St., so I wonder if he's a late bloomer.

I apologize if I'm getting Cam/Stauskas like in my admiration of Stanley Johnson, but he had his 4th terrific game in a row...20 and 10 with another 3 steals. He's shooting close to 70% in the 4 games and playing stellar defense. I think SVG is going to be really happy he drafted him over Winslow, although I think Winslow will be a pretty good player too.

I wasn't a big Myles Turner guy coming into the draft, but he's put together three very good games...about 19 and 8 and over 4 blocks a game. He has a good chance to move right into the starting lineup with Hibbert gone.

It's a good sign for Johnson, but we'll see for sure when the real games start....totally different ballgame. I was a Johnson skeptic.
