If they don't have quite what it takes for a contender that's fine of they are playing good basketball.
I'm not advocating mediocre teams but I'm tired of boom or bust stuff. I guess for the Wolves and the Twins it would be nice to actually see a legit product out there that you can have some pride in. Mostly it's been pretty awful. I'd be thrilled to have a team that was a little better than decent. In the west that means over .500 which quite frankly is no small accomplishment in that conference.
I'm not sure I articulated well what I mean but really I want to see the Wolves play some good basketball and maybe it will result in a WCF run someday or maybe not even that far idk but man just an 8th seed team sounds amazing right now. Sigh
What have the Wolves done to make u think theyve taken the boom or bust approach? The Wolves just exist, they haven't shown themselves to have any plan going into an season. They're as close to being a championship contender as they are to being competitive so why not shoot for the stars?
I think I am talking about fans maybe more than even the team but Kahn had a boom or bust approach in a lot of his decisions.
Personally after every has stated how they feel (great perspective everyone) I don't think anyone here is that far apart from what they want. My main point is that I am tired of what FEELS like ONLY looking at championship aspirations and just really desire to see some good basketball. For example maybe Rubio isn't a championship PG but he plays good basketball and I enjoy watching him and he makes the game worth watching. Nobody here is interested in settling for a first round and put type team but we have a long way to go to get to that spot. Hopefully some much better days are ahead. Wiggins alone give me some legit hope.
