I expect the Wolves to be in a lot of close games next season in which they'll either get outcoached or out shot at the end.
Defense? Who? I never met her.
Cam mentions D-LO and Allstar in the same post. Everyone take a drink.

I'm fine with resigning Malik and Juancho as it doesn't seem likely anyone better was interested in signing here. And getting Ricky back was a nice move and if nothing else, will get the fans excited. The draft was a series of headscratchers, but thats expected with the Wolves and I'll give Rosas the benefit the doubt for now, and hope Edwards can perform up to his lofty status as No. 1 and that the other picks can develop into positive impact players.

Maybe he mentioned DLO and all-star in the same post because DLO was, in fact, an NBA all-star the season before last. And he also qualified his post with the phrase "if they play like all-stars" in reference to both KAT and DLO.
In my view, KAT's prolific and multi-dimensional scoring plus his elite rebounding absolutely make him a perennial all-star caliber player even if he doesn't make the all-star team. DLO is a closer call - someone I'd call a borderline all-star caliber player with the potential to be more. But bottom line is that neither one players a lick of defense. Neither does Beasley or Jaunacho. That doesn't bode well for a Wolves teams that was third from the bottom defensively last season.
If Towns and DLO don't show significant improvement defensively, then the rest of the roster won't be enough to get this team into the playoffs - Ricky or no Ricky. I think that was Cam's point and I agree.

I can live with this as its below midlevel and 3rd year team option is good in trades.
The way the roster is shaping up, juancho is going to be the starting pf and layman and Q's guy vanderbilt to get backup pf minutes.
I expect another in season trade hopefully for a PF. I just cant see juancho as a full time pf next to KAT. Q's guy vanderbilt could surprise us I guess but we need to balance the rostsr somewhat. What is accomplished in this off season is that we added a bunch of contracts that can be moved.

Cam can't help himself. If the Wolves keep losing and DLO continues his negative on court impact, and people question DLO's value to the club, you can be sure that Cam will make excuses for DLO and continue to remind everyone that DLO is (should be "was") an all-star (thanks to the injured eastern conference point guards and Adam Silver).

I love the free real estate I have in KG4Ever's head. I'm actually quite flattered that you worry so much about what I say. I appreciate you too.
This board gets friendlier every year.

A Vanderbilt that hits his ceiling solves a ton of problems for this team. I think he gets his chance this year to show something more than garbage-time minutes.

The "free real estate" comment is very original, smh.

It could be worse we could have drafted Ball.

I'm NEVER gonna get tired of that quote.

Basically Juancho is being paid like a rotation bench player. It's a little more than I was wanting but it's not ridiculous. Some here might be surprised at folks on Twitter that were mentioning Juancho as an option for their team on Twitter. The 3rd year team option is big and I think if someone told me a couple months ago that was the deal we gave him I would have been sorta OK with it because we are only locked in for 2 years and...yeah sometimes just having a salary to make a deal helps. If Juancho can make his 3's he will have planet today value. That's not certain but it's not crazy to hope for either.
