Most importantly, kemba needs some damn help.
The hornets aren't even involved in trade talks to get him another scorer. That team has some great role players, but no 2nd, 3rd, or even a 4th option out there.

I think it is the big problem of being a smaller market in the NBA. When you are able to draft quality players you want to keep on to them. So they felt like they needed to resign Kaminsky, Zeller, MKG, Batum, Williams to all bigger contracts. It sucks because all those players are decent NBA players but none are studs. Its hard to not pay the franchise developed talent. They screwed themselves but I understand where they were coming from.

I find it odd that the media has suddenly gone quiet, but I'll bet they will be singing his praises tomorrow, and overlooking the subpar game he had tonight.
It was kinda hilarious the Sixers broadcast saying how he worked so hard in the offseason to be in such great shape...

Woj and Windhorst brought up a few weeks ago that the Hornets were offered 4 first round picks but they drafted Kandinsky.
I agree that Kemba needs some help on offense. Monk and Bridges might be there best hope going forward IF Kemba is there beyond this year.

Ya, I have heard that rumor before also because Winslow was still on the board. I just have a hard time believe it when they wouldn't even give up a none lotto protected pick to get Butler. But who knows its not like Jordan is a good talent evaluator.

That batum deal is killing them because he can't even get on the floor and hes getting 25 mill per year.

Hell of a block (and save in bounds) by Butler and then the game winner. I tip my cap.

I agree, and the thing that sucks is when he got paid it as off his best year as a pro. Its small mistakes that kill a franchise. Them selecting Monk of Mitchell, paying the guys I mentioned above. I mean the wolves have made a ton of mistakes. Just think how good the 76ers would have been if they would have selected Porzingas instead of Okafor, or Tatum instead of Fultz, they wouldn't of had to make a Butler trade. Small mistakes compound into bigger mistakes.

Yep hell of a sequence, when he had it going he was a damn fun player to watch, but the toxic nature of the situation killed any growth we could of had.
