Re: Should the Wolves tank?

Speaking of the Jazz...
4-6 this year I guess they should pack it in also. 5-7 through 12 games last year. No star player can't score. Probably should have just tanked. or maybe when the Jazz were 17-26 last year. Pack in in folks no way they make the playoffs in the tough western conference... oh wait you say they got to the playoffs and won a series to a team with 2 star players? Nah shoulda tanked.
If the Wolves suck as much as some believe then yeah sure its not gonna be long till that reality sets in. Personally I don't see a team that sucks as bad as some on this forum think. This team has had legit starting level players missing from the lineup. It played a rookie undrafted FA 2-way player Jared Terrell 21 minutes in a game mostly at PG with some other scrubs. (Jimmy Butler wasn't there to run with the 3rd stringers...lol) It hasn't exactly had an easy schedule. Teams with less distractions are game or so away from the same record. What is their excuse? Are they this dysfunctional and we don't know it? If at the 20 game mark this team is 6-14 or something like that along with completely looking like its quit then sure pack it in. I haven't seen that except the Bucks game. This team can win 30 games at least without Jimmy Butler especially of they get something somewhat worthwhile to help them in a Butler deal. Meanwhile if Butler plays even 2/3rds of the games till he gets dealt he will still help quite a bit in those games even if he isn't his usual self. Playoffs? No probably not but I don't know about an all out tank mode. Again lets see where we are in a few more games. A 3 game winning streak could keep things interesting. There is actually enough talent on the roster to make that happen.
