LeBron turns 35 in December. I have him ranked 8th, but I could still see him being a top 5 player this season. Players like Iverson retired at 34 and players tend to decline rapidly from age 34 and beyond. But LeBron is a freak of nature so who knows.
Speaking of freaks of nature - here's an interesting stat line. In his last NBA season at age 39, Michael Jordan played all 82 games at 37 minutes per game. During that season he averaged 20 points on 44.5% shooting, 6.1 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.5 steals. Sadly, at age 39 MJ statistically out-performed Andrew Wiggins as a 24 year old.

That's like complaining that 40 year old Ferrari outperforms a 25 year old Yugo.

Wiggins career has already outlasts the life expectancy of a brand new Yugo. Lol
I'd say Wiggins career more mirrors the PT Cruiser. It was a very hot item for a few years but was gutless and LOTS of people HATE them. Personally I would actually drive one and part of that is because they are pretty cheap.

I'd say he's more Plymouth Prowler than PT Cruiser. He has the appearance of something high performance, but barely gets out of his own way.

2) Harden
3) Giannis
4) Lebron
5) Curry
6) Embiid
7) George
8) Lillard
9) Jokic
10) Irving
Can't put Durant in a list about next year.

Ok we have some people posting their top 10 which is fun. Anyone want to post the guy that isn't really in the conversation that you think makes a big jump this year and puts himself in the conversation for maybe not quite too 10 but maybe top 15? I said Towns might make the jump but I'm thinking guys that are less accomplished than he is.

Bradley Beal and Victor Oladipo probably take another step forward this year. Karl-Anthony Towns should as well. Maybe someone that isn't getting enough focus/credit is Luka Doncic as he might be in the top-20 already.

I think KAT has a decent chance of breaking into the Top 10 to 12 guys.

My 2 guys that could come "out of nowhere" Luka and Fox

He's top 10 offensively already IMO, but just hard to put him there overall with the defensive problems of this team. With him anchoring the middle, it's hard to overlook....He really needs to start at PF defensively and let's just call a spade a spade - he's probably a better version of Dirk that needs another big to play ~ 20-25 minutes next to him to do the dirty work, collect fouls, and hopefully lift our team defense. Could this be Vonleh? I'm hoping so. Then just milk his offensive skills for all they are worth, like Houston does with Harden or Dallas did with Dirk. Let's not kid ourselves any longer that he can be a two-way monster like KG, Hakeem, David Robinson, Duncan, and other bigs from another era.
