I always liked Elton Brand and though he was a really good player and typically underrated.

I'm interested in Boston's ensemble approach to potentially making a run at Cleveland this year. I know Cleveland is the heavy favorites to win the East again this year with their star trio (or is it now duo?) of LeBron, Irving, and Love. Boston has had a hard time landing a true A-player, yet they have a bunch of skilled defensive bulldogs at the perimeter positions and some very nice depth overall. Add Al Horford, who so far has fit like a glove, and may be they make some noise.

LeBron is still the king - posts a triple double in 32 minutes. Nice.

The Knicks.....What a bunch of knuckleheads (the organization that is). Their roster has enough name recognition to draw some interest from the usual suspects (e.g. ESPN), but otherwise, they aren't going far this year.

And it looks like there are not enough balls to go around in Golden State. Just sayin'... ;-)

I'm watching the Warriors try to match up with the Spurs tonight, and I'm wondering how in the world they are going to deal with Towns. All they can do is double him and hope the rest of the Wolves don't get off. I'm thinking Thibs is going to know how to attack them.

Interesting. OKC won't be a piece of cake for them either with their bigs and the backcourt combo of Westbrook and VO. They don't have the shooting the Spurs have though.

And where the hell did Jonathon Simmons come from?!? Leave it to the Spurs to find the diamonds in the rough (and polish them up nice and pretty)!

I haven't been watching any basketball tonight with the Series on, but just turned on the Spurs/Warriors game. Gotta love unbeatable Warriors down 16 at the half! I see Klay has 2 points on 1-7 shooting...I wonder if he's going to be the big stat casualty of the Durant trade. He's always struck me as a pouty guy, so he may not take well to giving up most of the wing shots. Trouble in paradise?

I flipped over to the game after the WS game was over also. Its been a fun half so far. Spurs are playing a few no name guys.
