Yeah Leonard is better than some on that list. Arguably, Rudy Gobert and his dominance on defense would be among my top five wish list considering he how young he is.
I was about to proclaim Leonard the projected winner on a write-in vote. :) Apparentely Q remains in LeBron's camp as his one vote. The polls will remain open for a while until I decide to arbitrarily close them. :). The race remains to close to call between the write-in candidate, Leonard, and the Greek Freak. I voted for Westbrook in a close call over Harden and LeBron. But I'd like to change my vote if I could to the Greek Freak in a close call over Leonard.
LeBron just carried his team to one of the biggest playoff comebacks in history. Irving and Love sat the entire 4th quarter and it was basically LeBron and a bunch of spare parts. Seriously, give him a couple shooters and a rugged defender or two and he'll get to the Finals....may not win it, but he'll get there without a ton of help. The guy is unbelievable.

Honestly, I agree with you completely. The guys is unbelievable. Right now I'd say that the only team that could possibly beat the Warriors in a 7-game series is the Cavs -- and that's obviously because of LeBron. I think it will be a Cavs-Warriors finals and I have a feeling LeBron is going do some amazing things in that series.
The Spurs get the most out of their players, would this sorry organization find a way to get the same production out of Leonard?
Westbrook takes however many shot it takes to win the game. He has next to no one around him so the team lives and dies based completely on his play. OKCs w/l record when he trip dubs or doesn't tells you that.
Westbrook, Wiggins and Towns would be a western conference finals staple for a decade

Yeah, it would be epic for sure. I'm just not sure that at the end of the day the Cavs have the firepower this year. They really need JR Smith and Korver healthy and feeling it with their shots, because the Cavs are going to need to score a ton of points in at least a few of the games in order to keep up with the Warriors.

I agree with that. But I think most of those players plus our core would be pretty competitive as well. Harden, Leonard, and Lebron all make us contenders almost immediately.
He's been to 6 straight Finals and won 3 of them on 2 different teams. He looks like he could be on his way to a 7th straight Finals. Jordan would have gotten 7 in a row if he hadn't sat out that year, but other than that, the only other time anything like that happened was the Boston dynasty in the 60s, which was just a totally different game than today.
Yes, he's had good teammates, but he's also taken his teams to the finals in the first year that he was playing with a new team twice. One of those times (first year in Cleveland) he did it without Love and Irving so it was basically LeBron and a bunch of scrubs and LeBron actually threatened the Warriors in that series when they were playing about as well as any team in history.
LeBron is better than the rest of those guys in terms of playing on both sides of the ball. Now, maybe I could see the Giannis because of age and versatility. But it's tough to argue with results, and LeBron is basically still on top of his game.
Jordan was the best player in the world during his era. Duncan, Shaq, and Kobe basically shared dominance in the next era. And right now we are in the middle of the age of LeBron. Someday your kids and grandkids are going to ask you about it.
