Not a good half but yet it felt refreshing see Tyus after the D-League stint at least makes this interesting. I'd like to see them just cut it down to 7 going into the 4th.

Duncan is probably the greatest never-leaves-his-feet rim protector the game has ever seen. Seriously, the way he walls up and gets deflections or bothers shots is simply amazing. And he's NEVER out of position because he doesn't jump.

That's probably why a lot of these old-man bigs actually get better with age defensively. They don't have great athleticism anymore and then they figure out that all those years of leaving their feet to block a shot was actually counterproductive most of the time.

The Spurs are about as dominant defensively as Golden State is offensively (and both teams are good on the other side of the ball too). This squad is truly one of the better defensive teams put together in the past decade. We are truly seeing the best of the best. Defending the rim without fouling - yup - that's what makes them great.

That foul on Belly is legit, but that's my point, Wig drew more contact than that an a couple hard drives to the hoop and nothing. While I love watching basketball played like the Spurs play it, but nothing much angers me as much as Superstar calls, and by extension, calls for the great teams.

Don't misunderstand, I'm not suggesting this game ends any other way than a loss, a well deserved loss, but that crap pisses me off.

Just hard to go with that when the ft difference is 21 to 6
