That's true. I still think that Bud doesn't make through the summer as a Wolf though so I would slot Robbie into his spot

Rubio / Tyus / Brown
Martin / LaVine
Wiggins / Bazz / Bud
KG / Bjelica / Payne / Bennett
Towns / Dieng / Pek
Time will tell if someone gets moved. And my stab at a depth chart does not necessarily imply a rotation (ie. Pek might be the first C off the bench, with Dieng spelling KG, etc.),
So we really only have a few more moves: signing our rookies to their contracts, Bjelica signing next week, and KG re-signing sometime after July 8th.
Robbie Hummell called. He's not happy with your final roster prediction! :-)
Yeah I would be greatly suprised to not see Robbie on the roster next season. Flip seems to really like/appreciate what he does for the team
We will know the Hummel answer pretty soon -- June 30th is the deadline for a qualifying offer. Although we could still sign him even if we don't extend the qualifying offer...

We didn't give him a qualifying offer last year and ended up signing him later. I don't think Bjelica kills the idea of Hummel they are pretty different players.

Everything I've heard would suggest Hummel will be on the roster.

@APkrawczynski: Timberwolves have extended the qualifying offer to Robbie Hummel

Looks like Hummel is in. I am pretty sure this means Bud and/or Bennett will be moved at some point this off-season. And since the word was that Bennett was available during the draft...

[Edit: Damn, monster! You beat me to it!]

Damnit, that ruins my post about our lineup in the other thread!
I guess we can keep both Hummel, Budinger, and Bennett while bringing over Bjelica. But I would've preferred to keep a roster spot open.

Robbie must have photos on Flip or something. What in the world is the point of having him on the team, especially making a decision this early?

Not sure you understand the process, Alex. In order to make your player a restricted free agent (giving you the right to match an offer), you need to extend a qualifying offer now.
As I recall, Bud requested a trade last season, but nothing came out of it. Assuming Bud and his agent can find a new home this off-season, Hummel is a fine replacment as a 3rd SF...

Look in the mirror and ask yourself glen. Another member of the country club?

I don't understand the hate for Robbie Hummel. Sure, he doesn't jump as high as Zach LaVine, but he is a very good basketball player. I enjoyed this article on canishoopus, which labeled Robbie the best 12th man in the NBA. The stats support this. He consistently is at or near the top of our +/- list, even though he typically isn't on the court with our starters. The author wonders how this can be, and attributes it to:
1) no turnovers
2) never takes a bad shot
3) never has his shot blocked
4) leads the team in charges taken
These aren't the stats that grab headlines, but they are stats that make teams better. And we get all this for less than $2 million a year, and a guy who never complains about his role. Flip was right to keep Robbie.
Read this article, and construct a rebuttal as to why Flip shouldn't have re-signed Robbie.
