From being held back by his team to being thought of as the reason his team is being held back. I will not be surprised to see him traded this offseason if the Cavs don't win it all, and even if they do, but with little contribution and less defense form Love. My how the mighty have fallen.
I think teams that start rotating coaches too often miss out on a chance to build something good over the long haul. Sometimes it works out like Kerr in Golden State--although we don't know whether the Warriors would have made a jump the next year with Mark Jackson either. But it seems like the teams that are perennially good are the ones that stick with the same coach and allow him to build a culture of respect at the team. Spoelstra in Miami, Pop in San Antonio, Carlisle in Dallas. Flip in Minnesota. Sloan before the Jazz made the mistake of firing him. The NBA used to have something good in how much respect and authority they allowed their coaches to build, but we all seem to have less patience and respect for coaches these days, players, fans, and team front offices and owners. And I think we all lose out for it. I hope Lue turns out to be a great coach and lasts in Cleveland for a long time, but I feel like they pulled the rug out from Blatt way too quickly.
FWIW via Twitter this guy is at least somewhat legit (does international stuff) not just some random wannabe guy with a blog and a Twitter handle. Dumb he said Blatt drafted Wiggins but probably just meant the obvious connection there.
David Pick
Heard Blatt & Twolves buzz. Strong Euro core, he drafted Andrew Wiggins No. 1 overall.

Could the Wolves bring him in as a consultant? Why not right I mean he was supposed to have that euro Spirs type offense that Flip and the Wolves and Milt and Even Sam has talked about. Would Sam feel threatened? Maybe but Sam would probably also say "Well that guy over there helping us coach now has won a lot of games everywhere he has been and had the Cavs up 2-1 last year in the finals...you guys don't see what I see he is a terrific coach." Lol
this is indeed interesting and i suppose it is close to what actually happened, Blatt is not a scrub coach he is definitely much better than Sammich, can we get better coach than him? probably we can, but i would not be too sad if we hire him .. i mean what we have seen in Cleveland is not team ran by him at all, that mess has no purpose, it is just Lebron doing whatever he wants, not coachable out of control brat .. and if you say Blatt should leave if that is the case, he would left a ton of money on a table, that would not be wise :-)

David Pick has good inside info about the Russian boys. Maybe wolves should hire Blatt and trade Gorgui/Bazz for Love.
Then again, I'm alarmed by the reputation Blatt now has for not being able to draw up a play.

Rick Carlisle speaks very highly of Blatt and thinks he'll be highly sought this summer.
Depends who you want to believe about the guy at this point...

It's hard to trust anything that comes from LeBrons people. Most likely LeBron just didn't like the plays he drew up. I would personally be good with giving him a shot. I could see Prokhorov jumping all over him. Hopefully he sees how much of a mess that team is though.

I hope they trade Love so he can drop 25/12 on them every game he plays them. It's unbelievable the pass Kyrie gets. Love plays great and the Kyrie comes back, Love's touches go back in the toilet and Love is straight back to the have to go pile. I bet money if they flipped Kyrie for CP3 they'd instantly win a title this year because CP3's impact on the team is so much more than Kyrie's.
