Why did the league create a rule that discouraged teams from intentionally fouling within the last two minutes of a game by giving the other team the ball back (technically the rule was created because of Wilt)? Why is it ok to apply the rule to two minutes of every game and not the other 46? If the attitude should be just make your free throws then why was the rule ever invented?
