Britt actually clarified that he does not hate Lavine he actually thinks he has been very good he just see's Wiggins and Lavine making a bunch of money together not a workable championship formula.

LST I get the hand wringing about Lavine and even to a certain extent about Wiggins. As I said in the improvement thread of Bazz can learn to play D I feel pretty good about the other 2 talented wings on the Wolves figuring it out and Lavine and Wiggins are more physically gifted than Bazz is. It was around 14 months ago that a Bazz was an even worse perimeter defender than Lavine. Yes it was that bad and I am a fan of both guys.

You make a good point, monster...it's a fun dialog here about whether we would trade Rubio and Zach for Butler, but ultimately the Bulls aren't making that deal. I recall an interesting discussion around draft time between Barreiro and the Bulls beat writer (who sounded very knowledgeable). He said the Bulls' brass didn't have much interest in LaVine, and that any trade for Butler would have to start with Wiggins plus our pick. If the Bulls are paying attention to Zach's peripheral numbers this season, I doubt that their interest has increased at all.

I do the butler for rubio and lavine deal. I dont think zach will ever be a plus defender. I also think butler would bring more nastiness out of wiggins and towns. This team is still soft. I love zach, but i take a sure thing over the hopes that lavine becomes more then a kevin martin type player. Offense is only half of the game and it shocks me how much everyone is drawn to how much they score. Who guves a damn about empty god damn stats. Unfortunately dont think the bulls do it.
