An Lavine spent the 2nd half being a black hole because out of stupidity/envy. It didn't hurt the Wolves because they were playing a bad, unhealthy team. But when they run into a good healthy team, it will hurt.

Mitchell actually implored LaVine to be more aggressive.

You mean the Sam Mitchell no one wants back next year? You can't pick and choose. If he's an idiot, then he's an idiot. I don't know that telling a guy who shoots from anywhere like Lavine that you think he needs to do it more.

If you didn't watch the game and only looked at the box score, you would think he did well. 4/7 from 3, 7/12 overall. But a lot of those were forced shots that happened to fall.

I would also like to add that Dieng should somehow be involved in this poll. If the Wolves do in fact hand out 3 max contracts, how about KAT/Wiggins/Dieng?

If Dieng got a max offer sheet, the right play is to let him walk, IMO. I don't think he's worth that at all. Also, he's easier to replace than what LaVine will be.

I'm not picking and choosing. Sam Mitchell is Zach's coach. He explicitly asked Zach to be more aggressive at halftime. I'm not sure what young player in his right mind would say to coach, "Screw you! I will NOT be more aggressive!" Zach followed coach's orders and did in fact get more aggressive, yet you originally suggested he did this out of stupidity and envy. I disagree with your assessment.

Well if we are going guys not on the roster I have to go with McCants and Beasley. Both are proven scorers and just crazy enough to be dangerous.
