Harris has his type of defensive impact and grit (though lacks the height, wingspan). Harris is a better shooter, though. Just makes sense in seeing how hard we worked to trade up for Dipo.

Love Harris. I think as a first role him Dieng and Shabbaz could make a great second unit.

I agree with the take that Harris is a Flip kind of guy...very Dipo like. Not quite as athletic, but just as gritty and destined to be a better shooter than VO in the pros. He's had some great workouts, though, so I see him gone at 13.

I agree with a few of you that Harris is starting to stick out at 13 even moreso with Flip/Milt's comments on looking into two-ways players. Think back to last year and how a lot of us pined for C.J. McCollum and now if Flip comes away with Harris the Wolves would be better off compared to just taking C.J. especially when you throw Shabazz and Dieng.

Selling the 26th pick for little value stings a little, but, again, if Flip were to nab Harris I'd really have to step away from the ledge when it comes to Flip's front office acumen. Which would be comforting cause I have concerns of Flip possibly heading a rebuild, two straight solid drafts would help alleviate some of those concerns.

McDermott as an NBA SF is intriguing. Probably the most intriguing prospect in the class for me. If we do trade Love, I want him on our team.

I think we need to have a talk on Jarnell Stokes. Best rebounder in the draft. 20 year's old, yet has three years of college ball under his belt. Led Tennessee to a nice run into and through the tourney. Good numbers. Skilled in the post. Strong as hell; 263 pounds too. Long arms, big hands. Big time motor. I really, really like this kid. Competitor too. Won't back down from anybody.

"Ya know, if I can't shoot or dribble, the effort is gonna be there. I'm going to run the floor and no one will punk me. I think I can bring toughness to a team." -- Jarnell Stokes

He has the numbers. Has the drive. Moving him up my list. I think he's a mid-1st. Wouldn't be mad if Flip reached on him.

Would also be a guy I want if we traded back. For example, 13 to Chicago for 16 and 19. At 16 take Stokes, 19 take Jordan Adams. That's a win in my book.

Jarnell Stokes is really Craig Smith 2.0

When I was reading Cam's post I was hoping maybe Stokes would be more like Trevor Booker at least, but after watching part of Stokes DX scouting video I think Craig Smith is a apt comparison. Stokes is a little taller and maybe a little more explosive, but he doesn't look like a guy that could have much of a chance starting in the league on the defensive end. His rebounding is pretty good and as Cam pointed out he is only 20, but I think he is still a late first round pick at best. Thanks Cam for pointing him out I do liek him as a player he just needs to be picked in the right spot to be a good value imo.

McGary intrigues me and I know he is a big risk, but any team that gets him in the 2nd round the possible reward in my mind is pretty good because I think he is pretty talented.

The most recent mocks at nbadraft.net and draftexpress both have us taking Stauskas at 13. Harris is available in one mock, not in the other. McDermott is soaring in both, now slated to go to Sac-town at 8.

I would be happy with Nik at 13.

I would be so pleased with Nik at 13. Then we really just need to find a backup PG and PF in the second round.

Nbadraft.net has us selecting Stokes with our first pick in the second. If we could land a good backup PG in FA I think we would have built a nice second unit.

FA PG (or Shved)
Nik Staukus
Shabazz
Stokes
Dieng
