All I know is there is three guys on this squad that do or will be logging alot of minutes, If you think playing decent defense will cancel out all of their offensive deficiencies all I can say is look at the record. With the additions this team made their still playing .500 ball and giving up 102 pts a game. Obviously having only two viable scorers on the floor isnt working, Unless your happy treading water and missing the playoffs.
oh I get it, you think the guys that can score are good enough offensively that the ones you mentioned are good enough individually defensively to make a difference.without having to contribute by putting the ball in the hole. Even the best defensive players had a nitch on the offensive end.. Rodman got his put backs, Bowen hit his corner threes, So if your not the very best at that end ( which their not) you better find a way to bring a positive offensively by putting it in the hoop.
