I saw the same thing the other night on the telecast. The report has come out that it's bursitis in his ankle. It can be painful, but hardly anything that should keep him out too long. Just need to get the inflammation out and he should be fine.

It doesn't seem to me that bursitis is usually a big problem for athletes, except for pitchers if they have it in a shoulder or elbow. I can't think of any examples of basketball players missing a lot of time with bursitis. But then again, Pek hasn't exactly been The Iron Horse during his career.
