Kings and wolves and Lakers

Kings: K. Love, Barrea, J. Meeks
Lakers get: Thorton, I. Thomas, A.J. Price
Wolves: McLemore, Gasol, Jimmer Ferdette, and Kings unprotected pick.

Lakers wont do it because of cap space unless they get Love,

So if you add the Cavs you can make a 4 team trade like this

Camden wrote:I'd be all for any trade involving Ibaka. I think he'd be a perfect fit offensively and defensively next to Pek. He also has the athleticism to make use of Rubio's passing at the rim.

Based on our record and the fact we're at this record while remaining healthy I don't see any chance this team makes it above a 7/8 seed even next year. With that in mind there is nearly 0 chance Love stays here so at this point we have to seriously consider trading Love for whatever we can get. I think his value is currently at its peak so I'd say trade him while his value is high.

considering Ibaka's contract, i dont think that OKC would even trade Ibaka for Love straight up, Ibaka is 24yo he is improving every single year, and i dont think Love would get his touches and shots next to Westbrook and KD, btw. Ibaka is .340 3pt shooter so adjust his numbers by racking up 6.4 3PTAs per game and you got your 20+ppg player anyway :-D

You're crazy. OKC would boot Ibaka out of their locker room immediately if they could get Love for him. Love's the far superior player and it's not even close. Ibaka can't create his own offense; Love can. Ibaka's not a reliable three-point shooter; Love is. Ibaka's a pretty decent rebounder; Love's the best in the game. Ibaka's not known for passing; Love's a top-three passing big man.

well lets say i am biased as i really like Ibaka, but tell me how is Love creating his own shot? He doesnt have fadeway like Dirk to shoot under heavy pressure and definitely cannot create off dribble as he is too slow to do so. Love is also getting the most touches from all non guard players in league to get his shots off. I still consider Love as a star on a bad team, so numbers might change if the system is not build completely around him.

i am not saying that love is old, but consider that contract, they have Ibaka locked for 4 more years at 12mil/per year. I know that Love is better player, on offense it is obvious, defensively it is advantage Ibaka though and is not even close, OKC would have to get better Cs and after 1.5year pay Kevin something around 20mil per season .. they would probably trade for him to increase their chances this and next year, but it is not given that they would do that from my point of view

Love to Miami for LeBron, Dwade, Bosh and two first round picks. Get real

Only trade I proposed that is "get real" worthy is Golden State just because they have a really good core already; can try to win without making a huge splash. The OKC and CHI trade ideas are pretty well-structured, though. Would like to hear your ideas, if you can put any together.

So you didn't like my Miami idea? Wasn't ripping you Camden, just the whole concept of trades that don't take into consideration what the other team wants. Take OKC. I don't think they'd do it, maybe I'm wrong, but Love will get Max money, and they are already paying two players max money. They may value what Ibaka does for them more than what they figure Love could do for them. Just sayin

I'd be more likely to agree with you had the Thunder won the Finals a couple years ago with Ibaka. Now, just look at the Thunder when Westbrook goes down. They're 7-6 this season without him and the main reason is because they don't have enough offense. The thing with Serge isn't a prolific scorer like Love is; he can't put up 20+ PPG in a season. And I'd have to think they'd like how Love can score without the ball (playing the glass). Durant would likely be all for it too considering they're pretty close on the USA teams. I think Westbrook would love to team up with his former UCLA teammate again. I know they're not FO members, but I'd have to think they have some pull being two superstar players. Just some thoughts. I think they'd be all for it.
