Well put. He seems to be a divisive character. What can he do but make the most of his opportunity? It's almost as if some people would rather him be horrible all the time so the bad tournament game he played against the Gophers can justify their amateur work as a scout and statistician. The bottom line is his summer league success shows he has talent, simply because not everyone in the Summer league puts up those numbers. Now we should all be pulling for the guy and hoping that his talent can be molded into NBA success.

Shabazz had 16 points in the first quarter tonight.

I'd love to score effectively for the Wolves........but right now, if nothing else, he is showing that he might have some trade value. It is nice to see this year's draft picks have a bit of value.

Iowa lost on a buzzer beater by Ramon Harris. Iowa's coach took too long to sub back in Muhammad and Jeffers, so clearly Adelman was coaching the Energy tonight

Wildwolf, I watched the game. Just before Muhammad was subbed out late in the 4th, he had missed a block out that led to a follow-up dunk by the opposing team and then had the ball picked off from him on a post-up - two critical mistakes. I think there were three guys surrounding him and he didn't have the court awareness or vision to get rid of the ball before it got swiped.

To the coach's credit - whoever that might be - he was subbed back in a minute or two later to finish up the game. He was a -4 for the night, so it's not like the Energy was sucking wind without him.

Wow.......Nice line by Shabazz! He seems to be able to score pretty efficiently (his second straight game with a eFG% of over .500). It would be nice if the Wolves could score more efficiently.
