I was bored and couldn't sleep I figured I'd see what Doogie had to say. Lol After following Doogie for a while on twitter etc I'd say he is a little more legit as a source than I gave him credit for in the past. Anyway it was interesting "radio" (lol) spot but no real new info but there really isn't any of that right now.
Also I agree T-Spence is likely a joke but wow he is really committed. Right after Wolfson was on the next guest was the guy that was his T-spence Twitter impersonator (that means you made it right?) on for a few minutes. Sad very sad. Iol

Really? That's hilarious
Ya I listened to one of his shows, where he just talked about fantasy football the whole time, swear like a sailor. Saying how big of an idiot people in his league was. Said someone in his keeper league kept joique bell (mispronounced his name the whole time) as his first round pick. They don't do a snake draft, just a normal draft like the in a 12 team league the guy who has the 1st pick also has the 13th pick and that is the best way to do the draft. Also said Dez is by far the best WR in the league, Calvin is not in the same league as him. He is also a Lakers/Dodgers/Yankees/Cowboy fan (the worst kind of fan). Also would just yell at his callers that he disagreed with. I might take him a little more seriously if Ray Allen retires (which he is "reporting"), and the Kings are going to acquire Rondo which he is also "reporting"
He is a joke but I can't turn away, because how bad it is.

Wow thats worse than I thought. I love the morons (maybe its just himself with different accounts) that say "You gotta believe T-spence after he got the Love Cavs trade right!" good stuff.

Are you still firm in the belief he is staying with the Wolves? I'd be willing to give up 1 asset to get Young but that's it. It seems like Flip would offer the Miami pick for Thad and work with them on what expirings they are willing to take and that's the most his will give up. Maybe he sweetens the deal with a future 2nd rounder but I really think Flip is gonna hold firm on this deal and walk away if they ask too much. From what you say Bazz may be too much. .
Monster - I think the Sixers would give us Young for Shabazz in a heartbeat. But I am still absolutely certain Flip would not do that deal. I wouldn't do that deal either if I were in Flip's shoes. If we can't get Thad in exchange for the Miami pick and some expirings, then we won't get him. Instead Flip will buy out Shved, find a contending team to take JJ for a 2nd round pick and sign Elton Brand.

Lip, you sound pretty sure of yourself. I guess I have less interest in keeping Shabazz due to the abundance of wings that we are to have shortly (assuming the Love trade goes through with Cleveland). I just dont' see us finding enough minutes for everyone. The fact that nothing has happened on the Young front supports your beliefs, in that we are waiting to procure an asset to use in a Philly deal (the Miami pick).
I have to admit I am surprised we haven't signed a backup PF to this point, which also makes it seem more likely that the wolves will obtain both Bennett and Young. I would hope Flip isn't stupid enough to believe that Hummel should be playing on a nightly basis.
If we deal the pick could we not deal Young either at the deadline this year or next for a similar package and maybe even a better deal? Maybe turn and trade him to a contender for a young piece or pick? Get a nice rental for a bit, give him a test run and then deal him if need be.
I agree that it looks like we'll have too many wing players after the Wiggins deal is done. I'm not sure what Flip has in mind to address that situation. I just know he won't deal Shabazz this summer. I don't see Flip trading Budinger because the team will already woefully short of 3-point shooters minus Love. Also, trading Chase now would be a sell low scenario and I think Flip is smart enough not to do that. I would have thought Flip would deal Brewer, but Flip's public comments to date suggest otherwise.
I suspect a Flip will shed Shved, JJ and Luc from the roster through some combination of trades and/or buy-outs. We will then end up with either Thad Young or Elton Brand as our starting PF. The depth chart at the SF and SG positions would end up something like the following:
I keep seeing this, and I know it's minor, but why is Brewer constantly being listed as a SF and Budinger's a SG? Brewer's been better his whole career defending SGs, whereas I don't want Budinger guarding any SGs. Neither are good ball-handlers so that aspect really doesn't matter. Like I said, I know it's not a big deal at all, but I've seen it multiple times and I'd like to know what the deal is.
PG: Rubio / Williams
SG: Martin / Brewer / LaVine
SF: Wiggins / Budinger / Muhammad / Robinson
PF: Young / Bennett / Hummel
C: Pekovic / Dieng / Turiaf
That's what I expect to see by the start of the NBA season. Keep in mind playing Brewer behind Martin would ensure that Martin's minutes are kept in check. I see 30-40 wins with that team even if we do keep The Mound of Fudge Rounds (Anthony Bennett aka Baby Barkley aka The GOAT).
