So what is the team learning with Brewer in the game now?

Is Brewer a good 3 pt shooter? Because he shoots like he thinks he is.

Brewer should be like a fullback in football. Do some of the little things that matter, but don't trust him to run the ball 20 times a game or catch the ball out of the back field under any circumstance. The less we hear his name the better.

I think he just has to be traded, because his effort and ability to change games is tough to put on the bench. This is where Flip as GM and coach becomes a predicament.

Brewer is not in the long term plans but what would the Wolves get in return for him mid season ? Another meddling player? He'll have to be part of a package deal including a pick if the Wolves get any real value in return .

Russell Westbrook was a one-man wrecking crew out there tonight. I see absolutely zero Zach LaVine in Russell Westbrook. He doesn't have the handles, strength, or proclivity to get into the paint, instead relying on his beloved pull-up jumper, which wasn't falling tonight.

Wiggins was OK, but man, he takes a lot of tough, contested shots too. Without a good PG, it's just a ton of isolation for guys like Wiggins, Thad, and Bazz. Only Bazz has been able to score efficiently amongst the three of them.

This team has been through the gauntlet lately. Houston, Golden State, Portland, and a full-strength OKC. The west is just unbelievably difficult. Hopefully this makes us stronger once (if?) we get healthy again.

Brewer's value may go up near the deadline. I could see him fitting in nicely on some powerhouse playoff teams. If we could trade him to a 6 seed we may end up with a decent deal.

Westbrook was amazing. The help on him was late as usual. We also got pounded inside again. Although Lavine is no Westbrook, he and all the kids kept fighting. Minus Bennett of course who is a complete waste of good body for banging inside. I have never seen someone so wide get pushed out so far. The Larry Johnson comparisons people were giving him at the draft are just insulting to LJ.

Thad statistically outperformed Serge tonight. Neither were that great, but useless is a dumb word to use there, doper. He's playing without a guy that can get him the ball in position to score while playing on a tender ankle. I can't wait for Rubio to come back.
