LST I think there was another poster that was at least on the fence about the idea the cavs keep Wiggins and whoever else they had to send. I wanted to bring up that a couple of us said it wasn't nuts to keep Wiggins plus but I also wanted to give you credit because when you made your argument for Wiggins etc to stay with the Cavs the way I remember it you kept your dislike of Love out of the equation. I've been frustrated by some of your Love takes but now I know for sure by looking back that you are capable of letting that Love hate go. :)
Drew I like your point about Wiggins being mechanical although I thing his shot with a wrist flick can have touch on it but the rest was absolutely a fantastic take. I think though having body control that he has right now separates him from other players though that can't finish around the rim that we have seen on this team over the years. I'm excited to see how he develops.

Minnesota traded Love because he was bound to leave, not because they wanted to roll the dice on a 19 year old super-prospect. Those that say they wouldn't trade Wiggins for Love have obviously never had LeBron on their team before. Championship expectations from the year's beginning. THAT is why you acquire an All-NBA power forward whose game perfectly meshes with LeBron's. Love is proven in the NBA and just entering his prime. Wiggins looks to have a high ceiling, but nothing is guaranteed in sports.
Hindsight is 20/20, but both teams (MIN/CLE) made terrific power moves. Win win scenario.

Let's put it like this: the Timberwolves do NOT trade Kevin Love for Wiggins if Love's extended and happy. Circumstances changed everything.

Oh, I'm sure I'll disappoint you again with negative comments about Love, monster...my dislike for the guy has no bounds :) . I do spend less energy on him as I focus more on the new Wolves, but little reminders pop up every now and then that stir things up with me. Like last Sunday for instance. I was at the Vikes game with a good friend who lives at the Carlyle (where Love used to live), and he told me another Love story that just made me shake my head...and be thankful that he is now a Cav. I won't repeat the story, but I will say this...I now know for sure that the knuckle push up story was bogus, and I understand why the Wolves and Love covered up the real story.
But now we have Wiggins and Bennett instead, and I'm much more of a Wolves fan than I have been the past six years. I think we have a chance to be really good.

Come on you can't share that much and then not tell us the story. I LOVE stories. :)
