Game is going like I thought it would so far for the most part

Pek is owning Lopez
Wiggins is guarding JJ well as well as getting JJ in foul trouble
Nets 3's are keeping them in the game

Things that need to improve in the second half

Our bench needs to score more and have better ball movement, Mo settling for early shot clock attempts is no good. Teltovic and D-Will need to cool off, their shooting has helped keep the Nets in the game. If we can limit our TO in the second half we will win this game.

I wonder if Flip saw something he didn't like with Shabazz tonight...I was surprised he yanked him after 6 minutes, especially because he was so productive with 4 points and three rebounds. A -8 in those 6 minutes though.

His defense seemed kind of floaty apart from that one time where he shut JJ down

I think it was out of necessity. He and brewer on the wings was killing our spacing and playmaking. We need either a shooter or playmaker in there with the 2nd unit. Lavine is not ready and bud is playing poorly to get consideration. A 9man rotation in the 2nd half would be ideal with rubio or martin playing with the second unit.

I didn't notice, but maybe Flip saw what you saw. If so, I like the discipline.

Yeah, that makes sense too...if that's the concern, he may have to try Bud in the second half.

Do you think Kirelinko is happy he opted out of his deal with the Wolves? Hardly gets any playing time anymore

Just terrific defense by Wiggins on JJ's baseline drive.

I wish I knew what people were smoking that thought that Rubio could somehow average 15 points plus a game

We are seeing Wiggins' enormous potential tonight...on offense and defense
