It was a long time ago there. Like Lakers championships years. Blort showed up when we played the Lakers in the playoffs. The political debates were very intelligible. Wolves fans are quite smart although generally fearful that the worst is going to happen. In many of those years the basketball became so unbearable (think post sam and spreewell) that politics was all we were left with in the offseason.

Yup, that was before my time. I think I joined the board around the time Brewer was drafted or soon thereafter.

Haha yeah I remember some politics threads popping up from time to time. I didn't really bother since I was a kid back then. Does anyone else remember the threads about Peter Vescey back then on the general board? It was titled Peter Vescey is an assflake and it was an incredibly long thread. Those were silly times.

This is a good group. Even when coolbreaze hated me with a passion and especially when a lot of you were convinced that TheGrey was me because we were agreeing on point on almost everything for 2-3 months straight. :)

This is a good group and i enjoy being part of the group.

I was part of the old espn board as well and there are a lot more trolls and instigators back then mainly because you have access to different teams foruns as well. Guys/gals like blazerfanatic, marcuspaulus were some 'controversial' posters over there the last few years.

I have to ask if anyone knows where markkbu went? He was the chief defender of our poor bench last season but suddenly drop out of sight mid season. Makes me wonder what happen to him since he was a regulat anf passionate poster who just disappear.

cool, you definitely despised me at one point. So did one other person from the ESPN board days, but that guy was a true douche and predictably left the board after about 6 months of disregarding everyone's opinion but his own.

I remember that near the end, the NFL general board on ESPN could have just as well been called ESPN Politics. The NBA board wasn't quite as bad.

I haven't been that active as far as moving topics as I probably should, but I tend to lean more towards if it ain't broke policy. Until people mention to me that things are too cluttered I will leave threads like this in their place, instead of moving them to the General Discussion section or wherever a post may fit better. I'm glad a lot of people have made the move and stuck with it. Rest assured this place isn't going anywhere.

lol well did Hockey disappear for several months like I did? If he did that would be hilarious.

I've been enjoying this board as well. It's a nice community of wolves fans. It's nice to be on a message board that doesn't insist on name-calling, trolling, and general cyber-bullying (see Jason).
