Looks like Adelman was awake for this one.

These Clipper announcers are poop.

Love and LeBron with Kyrie and Varejao will be an incredible force in the East.

I agree.

I will fault Pek for missing that last shot. Notice how exceptional Ricky is at getting the ball to Pek in the right place at he right time. Notice how well he orchestrated the offense on every possession.

Pek usually makes those, even at that angle. Made 'em all night. Gahh such a tough break for Pek.

Ugh I remember this game, because I made a bet with a friend of mine who's a Clippers fan, and I wanted to strangle Kevin Martin, maybe that's why I'm willing to throw him in a trade for nothing :D

Pek has been INCREDIBLY unreliable in crunch time...

Oh if we only would have had Darko- the Clipper killer! Was he cut last year by the Celtics? Do you think he's back in his homeland, still laughing about all the money he took from this league?

Unfortunately, Love, Martin and Rubio too. I can only remember one game winner (Martin's) all season, but I remember lots of misses...and lots of disappearances in the 4th quarter. It's hard for me to believe that we had a roster of inept clutch players or that our poor performance at crunch time was random circumstance, so I keep coming back to coaching, which can be such an important factor at the end of games. Hopefully, we will see huge end of game improvement this year with Flip at the helm.
Q, I think it was you who pointed out that our close game performance got much better toward the end of the year, and I'm not ignoring that. I would argue, though, that most (maybe all?) of our close wins came after the playoff dream was over, and we were playing much looser than we had all year. And I still can't remember many heroic moments (like Rubio in regulation and Love in overtime against the Clippers in 2012) other than Martin's game winner.
