Or something close....

So we wouldn't get Randle or Smart in the deal. David Khan, is that you? :dizzy:

Yeah we'd have to get more from Lakers. Throw in Randle

Rumored trade is
Kevin Martin and Chase Budinger for Eric Gordon.
Thoughts?
I'd want to throw in Barea as well, but I like the trade. It'd be another risk by the FO, but you're trading two injury prone players for one. Less long term money, and when healthy Gordon is a top 10 SG

I like the deal. It clears out some clutter. Gives us a guy who can do at least what Martin can do and who was at one point considered the best SG of the future in the NBA. It puts Bazz and GRIII in position to get some playing time this year. Would you swap JJ for Rivers? He played less minutes, but still had better numbers in almost every category than his rookie year. I think he could be a guy to make the jump to rotation level type player this year. I just find it hard to believe Doc's kid isn't going to get it at some point in his career and we could be the team to give him the shot when it finally clicks. If Flip thinks Shved or Lavine can handle some of backup duties this year then it would make sense to add another young guy with potential to fight for minutes and hopefully push the other guys to play better.

Is that actually a rumored trade? If so, can I have a link?

I'd probably do that trade by the way. Another homerun swing. Eventually, we're gonna get ahold of a hanging breaking ball and crush it. This deal actually makes some sense to me.

Not too bad. Doubt they would want to take more salary back besides those 2, but who knows.

The Wolves reportedly have some interest in Chandler Parsons. I think this could put the Rockets in position for a possible Love deal. A sign and trade would be required, but Houston does have the pieces to make it happen, and if they lose out on LeBron & Carmelo as expected, it would probably be the Rockets best opportunity to bring in a 3rd star (to go with Howard & Harden). Parson, T Jones, filler, future #1 for Love & Bud?

I like the deal. It clears out the clutter at the wing position and at worse gordon is as good as martin and if fully healthy, gordon is an upgrade and the best sg in twolves history. Rubio and gordon is an ideal fit.

This elinatea martin or bud as package for a love deal. It probably means jj will be packaged with love instead.

Gotdon also fits with shved and lavine if both werw to be given time at pg.

I think this will be in play if they cant get Melo but I'm sure their first option is to sign a free agent and then keep Parsons.
