I'm still very high on Josh Minott. He's not ready yet, but for the most part he looks better every time he steps on the court.
Had another nice passing game. I have watched a lot of Minott over the past 18 months and that aspect of his game has really surprised me over these past two pre-season games. His defense was decent-ish tonight too. His outside shot....still a problem, but otherwise there is some real growth.

- The Bulls have a really good perimeter defense thanks to guys like Williams, Caruso, and Carter, so it didn't surprise me that things started a bit slow and was kind of a grind. Fortunately, the Wolves have an even better defense. I think we could be a really hard team to score on when we lock in. Not sure how we'll do when teams go small and stretch everything out.

- Is Luka Garza seriously on a 2-way again!? It's absolutely nuts that he isn't a fully rostered player somewhere at this point. The dude can just flat out score and at least works his ass off in every other facet of the game. It would be an absolute joke for him to play a second in Iowa. It's not even competition for him at this point.

- Miller looked awkward and sloppy in his minutes. Just sort of an odd player. Good motor and sturdy body though.

- I'm having second thoughts on jettisoning Ryan. I don't know....having a borderline 3-point sniper like him that can hold his own defensively against bigger wings. Just tough to let that go even though it can be a struggle at times for him.

- Ant sort of laid low and missed his first few shots, then put on a a bit of a show later in the first half. I mean, that was impressive. I really like that he is trying to get the ball to Rudy. And he actually connected with him once!

- Love that NAW picks guys up at full court. He's just a bulldog out there. Can't imagine what our defense would be like with NAW, Ant, Gobert, and McDaniels on the court. Stick whoever else you want with that group and it should be a suffocating defense in theory.

- Not real impressed with Milton tonight.

- Peak Jordan McLaughlin appears to be back!
Ryan a borderline sniper? LOL. Sure he looked great on back to back threes tonight, but including tonight's game, he's 6 for 21 which is below .300 and he sucks at defense. Last game he lost his man and Maccabi nailed a wide open three. He doesn't have much in the way of lateral quickness and so he's tries to get physical. While he may try on defense, he hasn't been very effective. We got a very good and deep team and I really don't see Ryan as adding much if anything to the team. Way too one dimensional. I prefer we use those last few spots on guys who we may be able to develop into future quality rotational guys when our current rotation guys move on. That said, he looked better than he did in the other games and I won't hate it terribly if he is kept on a two way as long as they move Garza into the 15th spot and put Nix on a two way. I see some nice potential in Nix and I sure don't want another team poaching him just because we kept Matt Ryan on a two way.

I agree Milton didn't impress tonight, but he was one of the Wolves top shooters in preseason with a .609 clip. Strangely, he has fared better in a backup role than his lone start. Perhaps, its just a small sample size as he was fantastic as a starter for Philly.

Troy Brown, Shake, Nix, JMAC, Conley and Naz Reid shot spectacularly well. Each shot at least 57% overall and at least 44% from downtown this preseason. Wolves shooting looks real good.

Anybody heard the severity of Jaden's calf strain? Is he going to be ready for game 1? Or is this mostly a contract thing?

They originally said it was not serious but then he hasn’t practiced since and will be reevaluated early next week. Wolves have been super secretive when it comes to injuries so it could be serious
