Golf is such a cruel lady....I played more this past season than I had in over a decade. My game did improve somewhat with the increased play, but it was not linear by any means and the improvements were small. Now that I've picked it up again I'm going to get a full swing analysis and club fitting this offseason. But I'm not going to fool myself into thinking newly fitted clubs are going to shave more than a stroke or two off my mediocre handicap.FNG wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 8:48 am Cool, thanks for sharing this exciting news with us. I've never understood people who say they "flunked retirement"...I've liked every minute of it! I was able to start a not for profit for inner city kids (it's still going although I resigned from the board when we became snow birds in Tucson), learned to play guitar (never had time when I was working), playing a lot more golf (but not improving at all), and now play hardball three mornings a week with a bunch of 60+ guys who refuse to let the old man in. I hope your retirement is rewarding as mine has been. Enjoy!

Congrats Cool!!! I am really happy for you. I hope you enjoy it and I'm glad you were able to step away when it was your time. Some people seem to have a hard time letting it go.
