He couldn't make a few plays at the end. But those are the kind of actions he needs to get under his belt. He needs to play, so I expect we'll see him get a few more games down here.

Newton with 39 pts/9 rebs/6 assts on 12-23 shooting.

Beringer with 12 pts/9 Rebs/3 blks in 31 minutes. He was a team-leading +12. He looked good defensively.

Rocco with 12 pts/10 rebs/1 blk in 18 minutes. His 3-ball wasn't falling today and he also commited four fouls.


It will be interesting to see if Newton eventually gets picked up by someone. He is definitely a pretty elite G-League player at this point. He lacks burst and speed, but is a physical, rugged guard. He gets a lot of his buckets by creating space with a bump and then hitting a pull up J.

Bones gets the start again. They had him at a +2 before he had to exit the Warrior game...
