This should be no surprise as we have discussed many times that TC touches base on everyone.

It still seems highly unlikely unless they can figure out a way to shore up the front court in the process.
Step 1 - Pick random NBA player name out of a hat.

Step 2 - NBA journalist writes that the TWolves are "monitoring" or have "shown interest" in that player.

Step 3 - Nothing happens.

Step 4 - Go back to Step 1.
They can't trade for everyone 8-)

Marc Stein reporting that Trae is interested in Minnesota but Minnesota is not interested in him.

This makes a lot of sense since the Wolves would need to trade too many good pieces to reach his salary.

As a player he'd be fine here, maybe great playing with Rudy/Ant and Jaden. However his salary is too large for his play/value and what we'd have to trade to get him leaving us thin. He just makes too much money. At half his salary I'd take a chance for sure.

I see Stein also says Dillingham is available.

I don't see it working well moving the matching salary of Randle, Mike, and Rob for Trae. I will say both Trae and Ant are used to getting double teamed. They can't both be double teamed, so one of them is going to have a huge advantage on offense. I wouldn't trust Naz starting with Trae, so you would need another defensive starting big back in a trade. I don't see a way for it to work, unless TIm Conelly has a plan that we don't see at the moment.

Yeah, I agree. What's more important here is that a young former all-star wants to come to Minnesota (even if we don't want him). We've never been a favored destination, but I suspect Trae wants to come here for two reasons...he thinks the Wolves can win, and he wants to play with Ant. If Ant continues to improve, we might be a team free agents want to come to for several years.

11-12: Kevin Love 8.6
12-13: Malcom Lee 9.6
13-14: Ricky Rubio 12.2
14-15: Ricky Rubio 11.1

22-23: Mike Conley 8.2
23-24: TJ Warren 12.9
24-25: Naz Reid 6.8
25-26: Donte 11.9

So according to FNG the top 5 players in the last 15 years for the wolves are:
1. Loul Deng
2. Jimmy Butler
3. TJ Warren
4. Ricky Rubio
5. Darko Milic

My favorite person on this list is Dlo because I know FNG hates watching Dlo play. CAM WAS RIGHT!!!

This is not a post to be an A-Hole to you FNG just pointing out the massive flaws in the stat that you bring up a ton. Not saying On/Off is a useless stat you just use it way to much to determine if you think the player is good or not without using context around those numbers.
Ha, you're never an A-hole, kek...I always enjoy your posts! But context matters here. In several of those years, the on/off leader hardly played any meaningful minutes (Darko, Warren, Knight, Deng, Lee) and a lot of those minutes were garbage time and meaningless. Even DLo only played 391 minutes that season, since he wasn't with us that much (oddly though, DLo is an on/off exception in my opinion...even though a lot of us here didn't appreciate his style of play, he has been okay in on/off in his career). The rest of the on/off leaders on your list were mostly my favorite (or most effective in my opinion) players on those teams. Rubio, Butler, KAT, Love, even Conley all had terrific seasons in the years they led the team in on/off, although Naz might be the biggest surprise on the list to me.
