Personally I think this is a pretty nice deal getting Bones back for the vet min. Less than a year ago Connelly signed him for a partially guaranteed deal and most on this board weren't happy and then at some point people though Bones had priced himself out of the Wolves plans. Now he is back with the Wolves on a vet min deal. I think he is easily with 6 million a year or more and possibly a multi-year deal.
As for the roster this probably is another sign more moves are coming the backcourt and wing spots are still pretty crowded and I would still be perfectly happy bringing back Conley on a vet min deal. He is a nice compliment to Ball and guard that score while making some plays in Edwards Ayo and Hyland.
Bones back!

The Conley bit didn't age well, did it? The cord has been cut!Monster wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 9:36 am Personally I think this is a pretty nice deal getting Bones back for the vet min. Yep it's true. With Bones back Conley was gonna have to outplay people to get minutes and I'd guess there were multiple contending teams that had a legit role for him.60WinTim wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 9:56 amThe Conley bit didn't age well, did it? This does give Pullin or whoever ball handling PG/combo guard that ends up on a 2 way a little more of a path to getting playing time if there is a need.
