Didn’t watch tonight.

Was bones effective at PG or playing alongside Pullin?

Also did any of the non roster guys in Martin or Timme make a case for a 2-way?

That was a fun finish. Heads up play by Reeves to pick up the deflected ball and get the go ahead bucket.

Bones was really good, and it was not alongside Pullin.

And no, none of the non-roster guys made a case for a 2-way.

Bones didn't overlap much with Pullin, who played most of his minutes in the second half. Bones and Shannon were really good together though. And even though defense isn't either of their strengths, both were really getting after it on that end too.

It was a fun finish. Reeves has done some good stuff in his very limited minutes. I hope he winds up in Iowa.

Game notes since I know a lot of you weren't able to watch it:

- Our B-Team crushed their B-Team. Larsson, Jovic, Fontecchio and Richards are legit rotation guys and all played 20+ minutes. Beringer, Shannon, and Bones were three of the four best players out there tonight, with Jovic perhaps being the 4th.

- Shannon is volatile for sure, but in the end he knows how to get buckets and break the paint. Don't think he's being displaced from the rotation anytime soon, but he needs to keep proving himself and limiting mistakes.

- The Miami announcing crew was gushing over Beringer. He just popped off the screen to them with his athleticism and activity. It reminded me of how Stan Van Gundy was singing his praises in that first (and only for Joan) Summer League game back in July.

- Cody Williams did nothing to help his cause. He's had an A-game, B or C-game, and now a D game. Clark wasn't all that great either, but was part of the starting group that won their minutes so handily.

- Some signs of life from Isaiah Evans, who went 3-5 from 3.

- Pullin continues to justify his 2-way, although he played more like a shooting guard in this game.

- Rocco was pretty bad other than being super tall. Not really seeing much improvement from him unfortunately.

- KJ Martin didn't look half bad out there.

Pullin tried to take over the game in the last 7 minutes of the game. He is like a very poor man's Jalen Brunson, with his ability to score almost at will and make a pass when it is there. Evans shot looks better, more in rhythm and less forced. He moves well without the ball.
Defense was lacking in the 2nd half, both teams were making a lot of big shots.
Overall a fun game to watch.

I like Reeves as well. He's only been playing late in these games, but the guy can really shoot the ball.

While Evans has shot very poorly in summer league and now pre-season. One thing he's shown (beside competing on defense) is a clutch gene. In close games he's hit some big shots at the end of games.
