One of biggest question marks for this new roster is playing big physical defensive teams. Not a good 2nd and 3rd quarter. Wolves also didn't shoot well. Then again, the Wolves struggled with Detroit last season too.

The shots weren't going in, but they were defended pretty well too. Detroit looks good.

Well, at least this stinker is in the preseason. Finch should have some good teaching points coming out of this one.

Maybe the starters will see some minutes at Chicago…

Preseason caveats and all that, but Finch/Ant era Wolves continuing the trend of shrinking at home

Credit to Detroit. They played a damn good game. I actually thought our effort was fine, we just didn't execute as well as they did. And it wasn't just Ant and LaMelo. Literally no one other than Kuminga and may be Jaden could do anything out there offensively outside of drawing fouls. Ayo and Shannon - the supposed dynamic duo off the bench - ended up bleeding points once again. Ayo a team-worst -18 in 24 minutes.
