Agree Cam, I don't see the vision. I was all in on what Gobert I thought we were getting, not the one we got. Conley is not bad for a year, but what future do we have? A few 2nd round picks while Danny Ainge gets a first and a 40 million expiring contract. Pack your bags TC. So mad

It's a meh trade to me but I want to say NAW has very solid advance defensive analytics and is hitting 40% of his 3s this year

Two more things:

1. This further confirms how ridiculous it was to not address PG this past summer. We have a vet PG with nobody for him to mentor. We have no answer outside of a 2nd rounder in Italy who will never come over and a bunch of 2's in a wing heavy draft.

2. At the root of this, they clearly valued this stupid max that will never turn into anything meaningful. He got 3 2's. Hooray. None of them are firsts. He got the same value for D'Lo that the Lakers just got for Rui Hachimura. How about that? It's not that I thought D'Lo could command better value, but does he really think he's gonna flip Conley next year into something good? The likelihood is we'll get another couple of 2's and a crappier player for Conley next year. If their answer at PG is to basically turn Ant into poor man's Luka, they're gonna fail at everything.

The issue is that he shoots on low volume. This is basically the Bryn Forbes problem: TC identifies guys who shoot good percentages but on low volume in a league where volume is just as important as the percentages. I can't even imagine who Conley is even gonna pass the ball to outside the 3 point line until KAT comes back.

And I'll join Cool doing back flips out in the snow! :-D

I've been waiting for this day for a long time. I couldn't be happier. Just knowing I don't have to watch him in our uniform anymore makes my day.

He won't win a chip with the Lakers

Agree wild, good franchises maximize return, even on damaged but talented players. I don't think that highly of Rob Pelinka as a GM, but he just turned an ill fitting past his prime Westy into DLo, Vando and Beasley, that team looks sooo much better now

Next order of business is waiving Forbes and trading Nowell for another 2nd.

And can this team please, please find a three point shooter who isn't shy?
