It's difficult to know what a well-run Wolves organization feels like, but I think this is it. Their next big challenge will remain the pursuit of Ben Simmons, but after that I would assume the process of conducting a search for a President of Basketball Operations will be underway even if it's just the preliminary stages. That hire will be very telling to me as to which way this franchise progresses.
I agree, Cam. Although these revelations make the organization look worse in the short run, the process behind the scenes that led to these revelations bodes well for this organization over the long term. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the professionalism and precision described in Jon K's article continues and ultimately produces good results for the organization. The first test will be the selection of Gersson's permanent replacement. But even before that, what the Wolves do or don't do regarding Ben Simmons will be a bit of a window into what we can expect - at least from Gupta.
