Thanks for posting, Duke. Ant is hilarious:

Anthony Edwards on playing against Giannis Antetokounmpo:

"With a guy like that, you can't stress about him scoring. That's what he's gonna do. Motherfucker's 7'2", 280 pounds. Ain't nothing you can do. We could put four people on him and he's still gonna score the ball."

The thing is Ant has his own way of bullying his way into the paint and getting buckets. He's got to put his head down more and just get into the paint. He's so damn strong that he can often create space for himself even when he doesn't have a step on someone. I'm fine with 6-8 3PTAs per game from him, but he is jacking up way too many of them.

Yeah, I don't think he's ever going to be a great 3 point shooter. But his drive game can be elite. He's a little like MJ was in that respect. He needs to become an 85-87% foul shooter and he can win a scoring title someday.

Exactly. That was his motive. It had nothing to do with any actual self-reflection or maturation.

Whatevs.....we're 3-1 and he's playing great. But he is one hell of a drama queen.

Yep. I agree on both points. First, I agree that KAT did the right thing for the wrong reason tonight and unfortunately that probably means he won't sustain it through the season. Hope I'm wrong. Second, I don't care about KAT being a drama queen if he continues to play like he did tonight.

The thing is though Kat didn't bitch tonight and he got respect from the refs that he normally doesn't get.

I'm not worried about Kat when it comes to on court production because he brings it 98% of the time the thing is though when he goes into his crying phase i think it rattles his teammates and most importantly he picks up offensive fouls that add up and he has to sit. I could be wrong but 0 offensive fouls today what is huge for the Wolves to have sustained success

KAT had at least one offensive foul tonight when he swung through with the ball in the paint and shoved a Milwaukee player to the ground. It was an aggressive play and likely had some frustration built into it, but I can live with one of those a game -- not three or four.

Yep you are right after the offensive rebound. Also the was not a response of not getting a call what I can live with

Just under 5% done with the season. Wolves would be hosting the Blazers in round 1 as the 3 seed. Hahaha

Anthony Edwards doesn't understand what "settling" means in basketball. He said he doesn't know why it's called that. He calls it playing basketball. Said if he wants to take a jumper, he'll take a jumper. If he wants to get to the rim, he'll get to the rim.

While I enjoy the confidence that he has in himself, I'm confused by this response during his post-game interview. I would hope that he understands what a good shot is versus what a bad shot is, and why taking a bad shot is considered settling. You let the defense off the hook by not getting the best look possible. And for Edwards his good looks are going to come in the painted area. Maybe this is something coaching can get on him about, but hoisting jumper after jumper when you have the physical gifts and skill that he has is the textbook example of settling. It's a bad shot most of the time for him whether it goes in the basket or not. It needs to be stressed to him that getting to the rim is the best basketball play.

Well Cam I think this instant of Edwards being 20 years old and just being an idiot to be honest lol

Hopefully he can be coached up on this. Which lets be honest I don't think is a problem he seems very coachable.
