Thank you. You finally stuck your neck out like I've been doing. So now we know where you stand. Gentlemen's bet between you and I. I say Wiggins stays a Cav.

Honestly I think he's unsigned for both reasons. I think they know they will give up Wiggins if the absolutely HAVE to, but are going to do everything in their power to end up with Love while keeping him.

Why in the world would they want Miller if they weren't trying to win immediately? How could you justify using financial assets on Miller, but saying no to a Love deal? I'm not sure they know what they're doing in Cleveland.

another reason I believe Wiggins is already on the table. Why haven't they signed him yet?

I have been thinking about LeBron's essay a little more. Is his omission of Wiggins any indication? I assume LeBron has one of the best PR teams that money can buy. They must have checked and rechecked the whole thing a number of times. Every element of that essay is purposely and precisely written. That seems like a big omission to me.

It is a big ommission but does it also mean Waiters or Thompson are absolutely off the table in a Love trade? I've said it before but the feel of the letter sounds like he is up for the challenge of mentoring a young roster and to build something. Imagine if Wiggins becomes a very good player. When Lebron is 40 Wiggins will be 29 Kyrie will be 33. If the Cavs keep the young talent and keep building like the Spurs or even OKC they could be wning titles years from now with Lebron coming out of the stands to hug them David Ronbison Tim Duncan style. I bet Lebron has though about that after watching it happen just a few weeks ago. He is coming home so that would be amazing for him to create that type of a legacy.

But if that was the purpose of the letter, it would make even more sense to include Wiggins in the letter. It would seem mandatory to me, even.

No doubt the Wiggins and Bennett omissions were intentional. That was a very carefully crafted letter. And the only reason for omitting them was an understanding that the Cavs and LeBron considered them top trade assets to get the Cavs another high level veteran -- e.g., Kevin Love. There is no other plausible explanation. The fact the Cavs haven't signed Wiggins yet is further confirmation of the Cavs understanding that that may need to part with Wiggins to get the et player they want. I can't think of any other top vet the Cavs might want other than Kevin Love. So as I've said from the beginning, Wiggins will be included in any deal the Cavs make for Love and I think such a deal is highly likely.

The only interesting twist might be a third team that gets Wiggins while giving the Woves the veteran Flip wants. Could Wiggins end up in Phoenix with Dragic, Green and picks coming to Minnesota? Stay tuned.

I'd take Wiggins, but I think the sticking point may be salary. Wiggins doesn't count in the deal until he is signed so Cleveland has to send other assets to make up the difference, and right now those salaries represent too much value in Cleveland's eyes.

Question about Gasol. If he goes to Chicago in a sign and trade when would league rules allow him to be traded to the wolves ? Is it 30 days? Do you think Flip/Rubio are after him as a vet replacement for Love while getting other younger pieces from Chicago like Butler and Dougy buckets?

Is this why flip may not be pulling trigger on wiggins deal ?

If Gasol is signed by Chicago, he is untradeable till December 15th or so. A 3 way could be constructed but I doubt L.A.is interested in helping Chicago get Love. The bulls want gasol for themselves

LeBron has an option to become a free agent next year. I'd say that points to wanting to win now.

For all of you making a big deal about who LeBron did and didn't include in his letter he also writes that he wants to end his career there. Having an opt out for next year is a buisness decision to maximize the amount of money he can make after the new TV deal come into play.

Will have no impact on any sort of "win now" mentality, he basically said this is the last spot he is going to play
