I haven't brought this up much because it's beating a dead horse, and who knows what the impact would have been. But Finch choosing to stick with Conley in the starting lineup instead of re-installing DDV when he returned has, in my opinion, set the team up for poor starts and bad games that didn't necessarily have to be bad games. DDV gives more "juice" in areas we don't get from an aging Conley.

It's such a minor tweak, but I feel we are not getting all that DDV has to offer by bringing him off the bench. His starting track record with the Knicks last year was very good.

Okay, I've bitched about it one last time. The Wolves can still do this.

We'll see how this series plays out Tim. Finch seems to straddle between brilliance and stubbornness. They say necessity is the mother of invention and it's only when we saw some key guys out that Finch suddenly got creative with things, such as in those two wins against OKC where we basically out-OKC'ed them and the Thunder having no answer for "shot-out-of-a-cannon" Shannon on the break. We also utilized that 2-3 zone with NAW and Jaden at the top that stymied SGA and got the ball out of his hands.

But when his top 8 are all healthy, he sticks with them through thick and thin, only showing flexibility in which 5-man combination will end games. Meanwhile, Steve Kerr is going 12 deep. Is the dropoff from NAW to Shannon and Clark THAT huge???

If we lose this series to a mostly Steph-less Warriors team, then I truly believe his job is on the line with new ownership. He's a great coach, but there are enough flaws someone could point to if they wanted to rationalize a change. Now if we beat Golden State and make our second consecutive WCF, then it gets harder to make a change even if we do flame out against OKC or Denver.

I've lost the Namibia magic. Can someone else create a nice GDT thread that reeks of confidence? Or desperation? ;)
